They accepted the offer! If things go as planned I'm moving to Laredo road on December 12th! Yeeee haw!
Three bedrooms, two baths, living room with fireplace, family room, office, sun room (art studio), remodeled kitchen, garage and great yards in a very good older neighborhood.
I can hardly believe it!
Go see it.
No, it is not actually inside the cemetery. It's up against a hill and the cemetery is on the other side.
I'll post more photos when I can get them. Probably not until moving day.

Congratulations, Doni!!! I'm so happy to read this! I'll bet you & the girls are thrilled.

YAY! That is the coolest news I've heard in a while! I can't wait to drive by so I can envision you and the girls and the pets living there.
I'll bet ya that the boys know the family that lives there since the MIL has lived in that neighborhood for 50+ years.
Maybe they'll recognize the house and tell you all about the family.
p.s. Ask Billyc about him and Alan lighting the hill (the cemetery hill) on fire by Alan lighting his farts.
Really.
Nancy- Thanks! We are quite thrilled. One of my biggest worries was over where we were going to live. I'm so grateful that this is how it worked out. I feel like I have some security and stability back in my life. Seriously, this is huge.
I'm soooo looking forward to getting into the decorating and the gardening. It's a great jumping off point. The house has so much character.
Virginia- Oh, gawd! Remind me to never get trapped in an enclosed space with Alan.
I'm sure Bill knows people on that street. He knows everybody.
Wow, that's really cool looking! You could hang some gnarly stuff in that tree for Halloweens to come!
And Paige can have as many bunnies as she wants!!!!
Nancy
Woo Hoo!! I can't wait to come out and see it! You must have got your low, low price if they took you up on your first offer.
P.S.
It says you have a view. What's the view? And what's "sprinkler system FR"? And how are you on slab with an "elevated foundation"?

Nancy- No more bunnies!!!!!!!!!!!
Y'know, I've always wanted a tree in my yard with a good horizontal branch that I could hang Halloween stuff on. Really! In all those years of decorating it was always hard to find a place to attach things so the display could have some height. I'd find myself saying, gee, if only there was a big tree right here that we could attach things to.
Dean- The view isn't much. You have to stand in the driveway to see it. You can see the hill that Allesandro goes over. I guess the FR means the sprinklers are in the front. And how the hell should I know about the slab? I ain't a freakin' contractor. Maybe "elevated foundation" means it's spiritually secure.
Oh you have contractor in your genes. I think it means it elevates YOUR foundation.

Elevating my foundation would take some expensive surgery.
i used to hang out on that street all of the time.
Ooh, maybe you've been in my house!
