We might be gittin' us a crop of 'em.
Today Paige cleaned out the bunny's cage and found a big wad of fur in her bed. Rabbits pull fur from their chests about 5 days before they give birth. Our bunny may be nesting (we did some Googling this afternoon). Gestation is around 31 days and we've only had her in a cage for about 2 weeks. So, now we're on a birth watch.
I'm going to ride my bike to the store and pick up some stuff for Dad. I'm bored and I need the exercise.

Hardly. She was probably out there minxing around the barnyard for weeks. She dyed herself pink, for cryin' out loud.
To answer your question, no, we don't have a proper next box. I'll get one tomorrow. She does have a small barrel with a blanket in it.
I rode up to the Plaza and had dinner at El Torito. Then I went to Vons. It was a good trick getting a gallon of milk, two cartons of eggs, some dish soap and my dinner leftovers home on my bike. The groceries fit in my basket. I had to hold the bag with the El Torito food. It wasn't so bad.
Nest box. Not next box.
The way rabbits reproduce, it might be: next, box.
Maybe you should get a tiara-like donut thing to wear on your head so you can balance things on your head as you ride. It's a twofer: Balance milk jugs while you keep hands free AND look fashionably princess-like.
It's a win-win.
Yeah, like a middle-aged fat woman doesn't already look ridiculous enough on a bike. Sure, let's put a milk jug on her head. Maybe I should also get some of those fairy wings they sell at Hello Kitty.
Hey, remember that old guy who used to ride around Riverside with his bike all decorated? Maybe I should do that. He always had a smile on his face.
He did and if you do that you have to get tinsel to hang from everywhere on your bike. Very festive.
