It's 4'X9'. We felt sorry for Eddie because she had had such a great life running free on the farm. But she wouldn't have survived very long. I would have felt terrible if Boz had gotten ahold of her. Paige was able to catch her because Boz had chased her under a shed and she was exhausted.
So, we built them a big cage so they would have room to frolic. It has a big lid on top so they're very well-protected. This winter I'm going to get a big sheet of plywood and cover it with a tarp to protect them from the rain. We don't have gutters and the water will come pouring off the roof right over their cage.
Last weekend I bought a big dog carrier at a garage sale. They LOVE it! I was out there just now and they kept hopping in and out of it. I'm going to get one of those squishy, fabric cat igloos to put inside when the weather turns cold. They'll be dry and warm this winter.
When we move I'm going to try to take the cage intact. I'll need to brace all the corners and remove the lids. It's not going to be easy but I think we can do it.

Ok, I know these are backwards. I'll fix them later.
Yeah, cuz I don't think Paige would like to be called Bullethead.
Fixed!
