Deviant Art

Every time I tell someone about this I have to explain it's not a porn site.

Got the links listed right there to the right. Give 'em a click. Once you're there you can click on a name and go to that person's page. Dean and I signed up recently so there's not much in our galleries yet. Lindsay and Kyle have tons of stuff. Paige even has a DA page but she says she hasn't been keeping it up. Maybe she'll get inspired to start posting again.

Just one more thing that keeps me sitting in this chair. Blog, blog, blog, blog, Deviant Art!

dA, unlike a few other art communities I've seen, does a pretty good job keeping out actual porn...this of course does not keep them from featuring a naked chick every single day in the Daily Deviations list...

cxugs - it's either a shoe company or a brand of bottled milk...

Now I'm the only one in the family that Doesn't have a DeviantArt account!

Of course, if I post the dog and the owl, I'm pretty much done anyway.

I added a ClustrMap (careful!) to this blog, so you can see where folks are that are visiting Donita Curioso. You can see it at the bottom of every page on this blog, and if you click on it, you get a bigger map with a little bit more info. It's updated daily. I saw one on Amelia's blog, and thought it might be nice here.
If you like it, I can add one to the Doni's Group blog, too...

The cluster map on Amelia's blog shows visitors from all over the world. My map will have big red dots on So.Cal, some on No.Cal, one in Texas and a couple up in Washington. I'm gonna have to depend on those blog surfers to make me look popular.

Redhen, it's not clear to me what ClustMaps do with the data; it may accumulate from day to day, I'm just not sure.

Vivage, cool! I'm glad you were able to get the ClustrMap to work for your blog, and that you are enjoying it!

This weekend is chock-full-o-stuff, but I'm sure Doni will say more about it...

bzdjn - Boz (is) Da Junior (dog).
Or maybe Boz Da Jinn (I doubt it)
Or maybe Boz Da Jenius (I seriously doubt it!)

Cluster maps updates more frequently if there is a jump of 10% from the last update. I think it's only a daily total if during the day you don't reach that 10% number.
