Nancy- I'm in the district office, which is downtown. Whatever is going at the school doesn't affect us much, action-wise. The office gets busy just before the end of the semester when people start registering for classes. Then we'll get a zillion phone calls from people who have matriculation holds on their records. We'll also do several big mailings so sometimes I'm stuffing envelopes all day.
All the RCC bigwigs work in our building. They have lots of meetings, sometimes in Dr. Deb's office.
Dean- Ooh! I'll check it out. We could use more artsy type stuff in our office. I think Tanya has a scanner now.
When I was leaving the office yesterday I went down the elevator with two other women from two different RCC offices. We were all talking about how excruciatingly slow the day was. I guess ours wasn't the only office that was dead.
Last night I went to Ken's to play music with him and John. We had a blast. We worked on our regular stuff and then Ken started doing his usual pulling-songs-out-of-his-ass thing. I've gotten to the point now where I can really keep up with these guys on uke. John has this really cool guitar module that plays all kinds of guitar sounds. He can make it sound like a classic Les Paul, a twelve string, a sitar, ANYTHING. We have a lot of fun goofing around with that.
Sometimes John and I will get into a thing where we'll argue but it's play arguing. Last night we got into a big one. I haven't laughed that hard in months. I was dying, almost on the floor with tears streaming down my face and he just kept yelling at me. It's one of those things where you had to be there. Damn, it was funny. It felt GOOD to have that big release.
Today my tax guy is coming over. I gotta get this house cleaned. I might have a couple of Odiens here tonight. I dunno.

Didja make it? I hate it when things are that slow. Are there less classes at your school on Fridays?
I feel for you, it's often that slow for me at work too.
Wow... Adobe has put a basic Photoshop Beta online for free--light photo editing and sharing, as I understand it (haven't fooled with it).

That video is my favorite rap song of all time... well, actually, the ONLY rap song I like of all time. I think Darwin is the best dancer, don't you?
